Up first…Phish‘s famed three-night run at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO in the fine year of 1996. These shows were made famous by getting Phish banned from Red Rocks because of the Phan “riots” that ensued! Of course, what eyewitnesses say actually happened is some local community members were angered at the influx of people and the cops overreacted. Watch the video below for some coverage of the event. It seems that Phish has terrible luck at this venue considering this year the Ticketmaster mishap had lots of Phans thinking they had secretly snuck tickets a week before the tickets actually went on sale.
Anyways, this is a great run of shows and you should check it out.
